My son found a salamander and put it in a jar. Last night I dreamt it grew the size of a medium-sized snake and I asked my husband to put it outside because the salamander was too big for the jar, but I was too scared to touch it. – SK

This summer 150 elementary school teachers attended a UCLA training and explored teaching science using Juna’s Jar as a jumping off point. Love these photos that they sent me! Hoping that the book and science unit will encourage kids to go outside and explore!
